hello everybody! =D i haf decided to book e nsrcc chalet instead of e aloha loyang one cos i heard tt dere r a lot of lizards n cockroaches. but dis means tt it'll be more ex (like 20 bucks per person for e chalet alone compared to less than 10 bucks per person at aloha loyang). also, dere's no kitchen at nsrcc, so xinyi n me wld haf to abandon e idea of cooking dinner for ur (yes, we wanted to cook curry chicken). so does anyone haf any objection to dis? n oso to eating diff flavours of instant noodles for lunch n dinner? we'll still haf junk food of cos!

heys. i announce that i'm like semi unemployed now and feeling extremely bored. damn sian. haha. so who are the gd ol souls that have been unemployed for some time now? lets do sth funky. i dunno wad tho. lets have a pre-outing before the chalet and go cycling at east coast. when the sch hols end or sth. den no pesky lil children arnd to irritate us. and we can un-pasty-fy ourselves.

you all come up with a list of places tt have gd food den me and cin can make a list and plan the route, yes? haha.

i want chalet! i'm so damned free. anytime!! stayovers not as fun, cos mostly only 1 day affairs and i guess we wun be able to find a suitable place to house us all. haha. but i guess my response to hy's post is kinda redundant cos its the working pple tt actually make the difference here..

ntu is not only ABIT far away. its like a periphery area. bloody ULU can. oh and believe it or not tm's gg ntu to study accountancy. yeah yeah. no more dreams abt the armed forces or anything lyddat. and all you peeps (apart frm those gg overseas) are gg nus :( and tho our blog is like gg strong (i jus realised its like 2 yrs old!) i'll miss seeing you all. so we must make our chalet a reality kk.. later plan liao but nothing materialises abit sad only :( cos so hard to plan batch outings somemore :(

lets go jogging. the weather hasnt been tt gd recently. but still. it'd be gd to exercise. and i guess once i'm like moveded all the way to some ulu boon lay, no need to meet up and go macritchie to run or anything lyddat liao can.. so lets lets!

i saw tse min yesterday!! i haven't seen tse min since.. cadenza. o.0 so long. :( but yay nice to see peoples. and hui xian too!! haven't seen her since.. cadenza 9. haha. anyway, i want a food trail too!!! but someone must learn how to drive first. then we can rent a van and squeeze 18 people inside. hee.. liu rui! quickly pass! :D then we can go eat prata.. lots of food and most impotantly.. tang yuan! :D :D -feels excited-

i haven't jogged since like.. hm. can't remember when was the last time i jogged. where should we meet for jogging? sounds like a good idea.. although i'll probably start dying after 100 m. :)

livia asked me to play for ntu band because she's the only perc around. i think i will be.

but anyway, she's inviting us ALL to play if we want to. it's under Mr Oura so that should be quite an incentive. (= i believe there are no tubas.

anyway anyway, pracs are
wednesday - 7pm to i forgot
saturday - 2pm to 5pm

the concert is august 26.

if you need/want more details, like are there too many of your instrument (Mr Oura says that he doesn't mind more flutes, so hmm i doubt there'll be too many of your instrument haha), ask me k?

argh. ok. here's a lil response to xy's post. you know wad, at least we had the lao ren yuan last time. i dun mind a lao ren yuan NOW. at least you'll see each other everyday (as you have over the past 4-6yrs). i barely see you all now, much less talk abt stuff, do crazy things like ride in huge tuba boxes and wad not.

living in the past's no good. but i get wad xy was trying to say. band WAS our life. and now life seems empty and hollow. thing is, we dont have the music and pracs to accompany us now. was in a strangely nostalgic mood yday, so i picked up this bag of old notes and went thru some of em.

you'll seldom catch me saying this, but i wanna say this: to my dearest batch, thanx for being my friend! thanks for always being there for me, sharing the memories and fighting thru all tt shit tt made us the batch we are today. i'd almost forgot abt the stuff we used to do, to say, simply because i havent seen you all in ages (feels so to me la). but somehow by just going thru all the notes, i felt the concern tt we had in our batch again. and i'm glad for tt.

the above sounds bloody bimbotic. but yeps. just wanted to say tt we rock :)

and yeah. i think cl may be right. i may be suffering frm the stockholm syndrome. i dun know if i wanna quit my job now :s but i need a break. and the idea of just maybe hanging out at each other's house, talking, eating, or just doing our stuff or just meeting up outside really appeals to me. we shld live the life of a housewife (or poor tai tai however you wanna see it) before things start heating up.. right? shall we?

thirdly, sighh, i agree with tsemin. we're old. we belong rightfully to the lao3 ren2 yuan4. haha, still remember that place? lol. now we don't even haf that. we're so lost. time rushes past us and we just float aimlessly about, sometimes losing our anchor to firm, solid ground. last time, i lived for band.. and now, i really don't know. it's really wonderful to meet any of you, to reminisce, to talk rubbish, to discuss the looming future.. just to see you all, feel happy, then get down to the monotonous job of organizing my life again.

hellos. i realised i havent blogged in ages. and we still dun haf a batch day! y not we let it coincide with band bday eh? i just realised tt june is almost here. was walking arnd j8 the other day and i realised (yes, yet again) that the june hols were here! we're how old la. i din notice tt. less than a yr ago, we were still in uniform, walking arnd town and everything like the world belonged to us. now i dun feel like i belong to any world can.. stuck in my muffin land. haha!

oh anws, i digressed. wanted to ask whens the next outing. cos right. yah. rmb tt list? i think zhun shld post it. when are we gg for our cruises, chalets, holidays, and all tt rubbish?! we're gg start wadever we're gg start and not haf fun before tt. how can?!!

i wanted to blog a long time ago but was too tired too. cos sometimes when ur walking along the road, you just think of stuff and you rmb things.. random things.. like our culottes to pe shorts changing technique and all tt rubbish la. i miss slping on the band rm floor.. haha. my ability to fall asleep anywhere is still rather gd.. as i realised during work yday. took a nap during break at the table just lyddat :s haha. and i rmbed the time when mr o slept on our band rm floor before zakeoff and we all tried to sneakily snap a photo of him. how amusing! such crazy stuff tt we used to do. funny how we're so old and weak and tired tt we dun haf time/energy to do such stupid things anymore :s

whee the blog has died for half a month! just because i stopped blogging *grins* let's haf a nomination and voting thing for our annual batch day!! well preferably a public holiday (since after we start working, we won't be free on any other days except wkends and err days dun fall on wkends every yr if u get what i mean. well, alternatively we could have sth like mothers' day where it's like first sunday of, say, april.) but it'll be nicer to have a MEANINGFUL day. like june 19, band birthday, that kind of date. i guess, even if we can't hang out for the whole day, we could have an afterwork thing, like dinner. who knows what adults do when they gather mann.. i don't suppose they loiter around orchard, then sit at some obscure corner discussing the next batch outing. i think they probably go to some high-class restaurant, say 'cheers', clink their wine glasses and drink (except for hy who can't drink and paula who doesn't wish to drink).

it's so strange that we're so old, and yet, i don't feel any different. i still feel like doing the silly things we used to do, wear jeans and bum around, eat lots of junk (YEA eating is our batch hobby), laugh loudly, sing silly songs. i can't imagine the day when i'll walk around in high heels EVERYDAY and wear office skirts and blazers!! and put on make-up forever and boycott fast-food. but hey we're approaching our twenties! we're considered adults in some societies. i can't believe it mann..

hey all you unattached people dun fret! if you need someone, you can always look for me! i am permanently free and available (for you guys only). the only condition you have to meet is that you have to treat me everytime cos i am potentially broke everyday. (i have no idea why)

anyway it's been a long while since i last blogged here and i see it's been bustling with activity. in fact clarine actually blogged! i think the last time she blogged was one year ago?

and actually i'm very proud of our blog cos it's still coming on strong after so long. ok maybe it;s just a few people but at least these few people blog consistently (somewhat). so now it's time to turn our eyes and glare at those who dun! muahahah!

tsemin is depressing me with all those marriage stuff. but the truth is that is extremely likely to happen. we barely even meet each other now although we are not married or anything. (ok maybe married to our jobs but still...) and then at weddings we will say, "oh my, look how pretty you are today! i'm so happy for you to see you all grown up and married now". though the truth is we perhaps only see each other grown up only because we haven't seen each other for so long. am i making sense here?

aiyah i'm very tired of blogging. tomorrow i go for another killer round of law written interview with no idea what terror awaits me. so i've more or less confirmed that i'll be going to fass. i heard that the food there is pretty good so if you nus guys are eating in the arts canteen, please do come and look for me! :)

my turn to blog!! i swear tt i'm slightly bemused by the last 2 entries by xy and cl respectively. cl, you were supposed to BLOG! not give a report on wad we did. like huh?! and wads with eating venezia everyday.. eating's our batch hobby! eating's gd for you! it relieves stress, it makes you happy :) heh confession to make: i only said tt cos i'm xy's partner in crime haha. and i'm NOT doing slave labour la. i've a choice. this job is just to kill time :s

and xy has damn weird ideas.. and so as i was telling her.. either i PON her wedding even if she elects me bridesmaid.. or she dismisses tt idea and allows me to do as i please. haha. rmb i'm like the master ponner la. hoho

and on the saddd topic of weddings, i haf sth depressing to say here. do you realise tt aft pple disappear frm spore to do their tertiary education, and aft we finish our tertiary education.. and get our jobs.. we'd seldom meet. then the next time we'd meet aft our studies wld be at each others weddings, den aft weddings wld be maybe first child den aft tt wld be each others funerals. sad can. cannot let tt happen know. so as we were brainstorming like ages ago.. we must haf an annual batch day! at the very least! so we dun lose touch/contact/sight of each other.

i realise tt i'm like very depressing here. withdrawal symptoms hitting me hard. you all must turn up on mon k! i hope we wun need to cancel :s
